A detailed guided tour

Part of the Gite’s character is in its unusual layout – each bedroom is accessed by its own staircase which ensures that each is entirely private.

The gite is accessed via the sitting room which overlooks the terrace on the south side of the property. This room is a light and airy space in which to relax and has a good view to the private swimming pool and across the grounds beyond. There is plenty of seating, a smart wall-mounted TV, a Bose bluetooth sound dock and remote-controlled air-conditioning. A feature staircase leads to the first floor level where there is access via a small landing to Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2 (via an additional staircase) and the dining kitchen. The dining kitchen is designed with holiday rentals in mind and provides an eye-level oven and microwave, ceramic hob, built-in fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table seats 8-10 comfortably and there is remote-controlled air-conditioning. A large window has views across the garden.

Bedroom 1 (located above the sitting room) is an ideal family space as it includes an additional ‘mezzanine’ style sleeping area. The bed in the main room is a super-king which can be split into two singles, there are views on two sides over the pool and gardens and a remote-controlled air-conditioning unit is installed. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and wc. The upper mezzanine (only suitable for children or young teens due to height restriction) has a velux roof-light, twin beds and air-conditioning.

Bedroom 2 is accessed by its own staircase and is located above the dining kitchen. This is a generous bedroom with super-king bed (can be arranged as two singles), air-conditioning and views across the gardens. The en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower, wash basin and wc.

Bedrooms 3 and 4 are located beyond the dining kitchen. Stairs lead down to Bedroom 3 which also has a super-king bed, air-conditioning and en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin and wc. There are views on two sides towards the pool and the garden. Bedroom 4 is accessed by stairs leading up from the kitchen and is immediately above Bedroom 3. This room, which also looks out towards the garden and swimming pool, has a super-king bed, air-conditioning and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin and wc.

Each bedroom offers plenty of storage for your clothes and there is wireless internet throughout.

Outside, the 6 x 3 metre pool is available for the exclusive use of guests in the gîte. There are loungers, parasols and dining furniture as well as a gas plancha and outdoor fridge with small food preparation area.
